MICHAEL BOHAN is a member of Boy Scout Troop 90 in Massapequa, Theodore Roosevelt Council, Pequott District. For his Eagle Scout project he decided to help Last Hope and collected over $300. In addition, he has collected dog and cat food, paper plates/plastic utensils, dog leashes, pet beds, blankets, cat and dog toys, towels, coupons, paper towel, and litter.

Last Hope would like to thank Mrs. Loretta Dressler and her class at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School for raising $568.00 for Last Hope.

We would also like to thank Principal Dr. Edward J. Metzendorf, Jr. for allowing Mrs. Dressler's class to have a fundraiser for us.

And thank you to Last Hope Volunteer, Jeannette Abrameto, for helping this come together.

Many Thanks to Hannah Stewart, Jordan Stewart and Alyssa Lubano who raised $300.00 for Last Hope with their Toy and Bake Sale.

There are Special People In this World...

Meet John Vanek, Eagle Scout.

To become an Eagle Scout, John's project was to do something special for his community.

For his project, he chose to build various feral cat houses.

He downloaded the plans from Alley Cat Allies, built them and presented the houses to Last Hope!

On June 4th, 2006, John was honored at a Candle Lighting Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony.

Congratulations to John on becoming an Eagle Scout!
