When You're Happy, We're Happy!

Connor, Summer, and Frankie

At the time of the photos, Connor (grey) had been with me for two months and Frankie (tabby) was brand spankin' new on the scene. Frankie was crying a lot and very loudly b/c he didn't know where he was or why. Connor took it upon himself to sneak into the room Frankie was in and cozy up on the chair. Frankie jumped up to be near Connor and, as you can see, Connor welcomed him and comforted him very lovingly.

Connor and Frankie

Connor is truly the most peaceful, relaxed creature I've ever met. We nickname him "stretch" because you can always find him completely stretched out in a blissed-out state no matter what is going on around him. His favorite location has always been in the middle of the kitchen floor where everyone has to walk around him or step over him and he doesn't even flinch. He adopted the box top when I lazily left it on the floor one day and it's been his favorite place to be ever since.

His big sister Summer (calico) didn't appreciate this at first and would give him dirty looks until I put a second box down next to his. Now, neither one misses a trick as they are stationed in the center of the main room in the house and nobody can come or go without having to bypass them. Myah, the poodle, chases them and wrestles with Connor on a daily basis but when they are in their boxes it is understood that they're off-limits.

Eileen O.

Hello.

I adopted Kimba back in January of 2005 when PetSmart had their grand opening in Huntington Station. She is a perfect match for me and we are inseparable! She gets along with children, adults, and even babies! I am so happy that I found my perfect pet!

Thank you.

Here is a picture of Kimba so that she can be added to the adopted dogs page!

Dear Eileen,

Hi. Just a quick update on Foxy.

She has adjusted well in her new home. It took her a while to get to know us but now it feels like she has been here always.

She gets along well with her little sister, "Delilah." As you can see in her pictures, Foxy likes to sit in the window or look outside. She also likes to sleep on my bed while I'm reading. She loves to be petted.

Thank you again for taking such great care of her and know that I will give her a happy home.

Hi Milda:

Lou & I were browsing the Last Hope website - specifically, cats that had been adopted and saw a picture of Mimba (whom we renamed Scarlette) and realized that we hadn't sent photos of her to you, as promised. We did not see a photo of Snickers (now Catalina), whom I adopted from Lat Hope (through Pet Supplies Plus) in 2005, so we're sending photos of her as well.

We want you to know that both calicos have turned out to be the best pets anyone could ask for - intelligent, playful, clean, loving and great eaters! We enjoy them so much and it's been our pleasure to spoil them!

Thanks & regards,

Linda & Lou
