DANNY

Last Hope Animal Rescue-

I adopted my cat, Danny, in September of 2006 and he came to live at my house with my other 2 cats, a male named Coconut and a female named Chocolate. (I've also since gotten a fourth cat named Carlos, who I took in when a friends cat had kittens.)

There was something about Danny when I saw him at the shelter and I almost left before I decided to take a look at him and I am so glad I didn't turn around and leave when I was going to.

Although Danny likes to pick on the other cats and be a bully sometimes, he is the most loving and affectionate cat. He sleeps next to me in my arms every night and follows me around and waits for me wherever I go. If I don't give him the attention he craves he will meow as loud as he can and go after my legs. Aside from being a sweetheart, Danny is a pretty crazy cat.

He sometimes lays flat on his back with his limbs stretched out and relaxes in the strangest positions and he loves to use my mirrors and the big picture window as an upright treadmill.

I am so grateful that I adopted Danny and hope everyone makes the right choice to adopt their pets and give them a loving and caring home.

BABE

Hi Caroline,

Thank you so very much for your good wishes, the same for you and yours.

Babe's doing just great. She now owns the house and everyone in it.

Babe and I share the mornings together. We have a wonderful routine.
First things first. I feed her. I keep all her dishes very clean. She's a very tidy cat. Then I follow her into my living room where I get down on the floor with a hanger in my hand while she sits patiently on the couch. There are always 5 or 6 toy mice she's hidden under there. I retrieve them for her and the game starts all over again.

Next we walk into my laundry room where I keep her litter. I clean last nights little gift she sits and watches. Then she proceeds to go in while I wait for her to do her morning business.

We're a wonderful team. She's totally spoiled my husband and I take turns petting, brushing, and throwing toy mice all day and most of the night.

BACCHUS and TOBLER

Hi Barbara,

Bacchus (formerly Mr. Feeney) passed his vet check up today with flying colors and received his Distemper booster. Everybody loved him. He is now fully accepted by my other animals and he now holds his own. He and Dolce, my chunky cat, spend much time chasing one another and playing. She has also allowed him to join her on my bed at night. Although he was a bit afraid of Tobler in the beginning because of his size, this is no longer the case. This is illustrated by the attached photos. Most importantly, he remains a very sweet and gentle cat, who loves to sleep on my lap like now while I am writing this e-mail.

MIA

Hi Letty. This is Tara, the new owner of Mia. She is doing very well.

Her and Riley are enjoying their time together, although now they are both wiped out and sleeping. Here are the pics I promised you. I will send more when I get them.

Thanks again, we love Mia already. She fits in so well with our family!
