Dear Friends of Last Hope,

Many thanks to all of you who volunteered, donated, and attended the flea market at our dog adoption center at Basic Pet Care on July 13th, 08.

Twenty one dog "alumni" and their families attended our BBQ. All of the dogs were on their best behavior and one could see how they had improved physically as a result of their adoptions into loving homes. Their coats were silky, their walks were jaunty, and one could not miss how serenely happy they all were. They wanted their debut with their new parents to be special and thus all were very polite and tolerant of each other.

Cheryl and Letty, our dog coordinators, were thrilled to see all of the "alumni" and to hear the stories of their progress. It meant so much to them that the families were so happy with their new members. All their hard work had paid off.
